I got a new one after both ends of mine were fraying & the wires were exposed. The new ones are longer & thicker. Love it.

Back to the original topic...the charging cord that comes with it is horrible! It takes no time for the cord that attaches to the iPhone end to come apart! We've found another cord like it, not made by AT&T at best buy. It is more sturdy! It's technically shorter but it's like a telephone cord (for a landline that connects the handset to the base) so it stretches to about the same length as the original. I want a longer cord but at least this one doesn't fall apart!
