All these accusations about Nick trying to screw people & steal their money are ridiculous. Take a step back for a minute & think about it. He makes far more $ keeping the game running correctly & wanting people to play & invest in improving themselves through don points.
Look, there are gonna be bugs in the system anytime there's an update. There's no way around it. It's just part of dev & coding. If your not willing to accept the fact that there are gonna be bugs with upgrades, stick to playing pong.

There will be bugs. But he does nothing for the players who used don points in attacking. Just penalises them for not knowing that there's a bug somewhere.

Forgive my ignorance here but how do you use don points for attacking? And spot on Belial, I'm sure the 600 mob guy robbing my turf should really have thought that there might just be something amiss!!

I know of a small player eho capped some from stronger player yesterday- and it was repoed. But he got a message saying "so and so's turf is weaker because he is new to the area.." and the turfs were brand new. So how should he have seen something was wrong? I dont think nick screwed him over but i think judging the guy is wrong...

Nick did no judging. The message specically said players were not beingjudged

Because they saw they could cap a big player and took it to town. I knew it was a glitch in seconds.

The day BEFORE any bug I planted 20 turf , waiting for a 24 he period before attacking like mad. Check out my turf.

The player I'm attackin had turf in Amsterdam. I attacked new turf in Huddersfield.
The day of the 'new feature' I see a msg re new features and to download the new app. I did.
I see a new feature advising i had help re the turf I'm attacking.
I buy 500-600 don points. Attack the Player I'm in a skirmish with hundreds of times.
I then get told the turf I took is returned , that I won't be punished further! For what? For purchasing more turf to surround the players other new turf?
Nick creates a bug, they happen in games. You do not use words such as punished etc.
While the dev 'punishes' Players, the dev profits from the extra income, THAT is what I'm unhappy with. Of course bugs occur.

Bel I don't care if you knew a bug existed. This does not mean every other player would have known.
Again. I was winning attacks the day before the bug with this player! They were in a ven. When I saw a msg re the new feature, saw the players other turfs were prob 200 miles away, I saw no reason to assume any bug existed. I'm not on the forums all day.
I purchased god knows how many don points raising turf limit to plant new ones to attack his newer turfs. And attacked several hundreds of times over. It was costing 20 odd don points each time to refil strength.

Finally , having looked at threads today I can see several players who thought this was a new feature. I wasn't getting some error message, I had messages saying the don helped me due to the other players turf being new etc.. This just after I also see an announcement to download the new app for new features.
Not everyone cheats and lies. I only resent the way the devs handled it. Using terms like punished. For HIS error. While still pocketing the extra income.

If NIck hadn't used the term "punished", people would be screaming in the forums, "why am I being punished for his mistake?" Are you pissed off about the bug or the language? In either case I think you should give it a few days to shake out. Nick doesn't have a track record of screwing people who haven't cheated. In fact he goes out of his way to find a resolution that will work both play wise & monetarily. I have no idea what his solution is going to be but I can guarantee you he isn't just ignoring this problem on all levels.
As I said, give it a few days & see what happens. If you aren't satisfied after that, you can always go right back to being pissed off again.

Pissed because of the inference I cheated. No apology to players like me, just advised were punished. Pissed because I don't cheat in real life or games, so don't take kindly to the devs message. Pissed because the dev seems quite happy to profit n keep money gained soley as a result of his bug, while 'punishing' me for profiting from his bug.

I still don't even know what the bug was exactly. These turfs were prob 200 miles from his others.
Players still seem unsure what turf will carry penalties.
