Any gardeners here?

Growing me own fruit and veg, I am still learning massively and I do know the basics and some things I've grown for years, but just wanted to know if anyone knows any organic home remedies for aphis(greenflies) and also help identifying a small(tiny) rounded insect, seems to have a rounded shell kinda like a beetle and are smaller than aphis? Infact any gardening tips would be well appreciated, as I'm learning u can read and read but nothing beats true experience...

And I've been out collecting ladybirds(bugs) aswell but most of them don't stay for long...either I'm picking up ones that are already stuffed or they just don't like my company? I got to see a ladybird lay an egg(larvae) on my sage aswell, not sure if the larvae will e beneficial and eat the greenfly or whether will eat my plant?

Larva eat >50 aphid a day. Extreamly beificial and can not fly away. What does this have to do with turf wars.

Same as the royal weddingthread and the I have wind thread ...th list continues are u going to go to each an everyone of those threads and post same comment? Thank you for ur information

I hose or rub off manually the aphids. Try adding a bug house, if the good ones have a overwintering space they will hang around. Also you might want to companion plant (google for details)

Yeah companion planting ,funny last night I learned "how" beneficial it was, knew it existed but not how affective...I've heard about a very diluted washing up liquid and water, spray the plant and the spray with clean water to rinse? I know not technically organic, but handy if desperate and losing the battleI hose or rub off manually the aphids. My mom got praying mantis eggs and hatched some. They work good also if you have any spiders (like we do) she put them in there too they don't see to cause any conflicts with eachother. Altho the mantises have moved cuz we lost alot of our grass that they would go after flies in (we have dogs, dogs = poop)
so... Yea lol but theyres alot of lady bugs and appearently there's lizards that found a hole that leads to under our house. There's lots around us -
I grew a bonsai tree from a seed if that counts? Lol

If only I could find my tomato thread...
-
Try spraying a soap-water solution on your plants for tha asphis and I know this is a sin, but pour some beer around the plants to keep slugs, snails and beetles away. 👌

Got 3 different strains of kush growing hydroponically.

What the f***

I never found the dishwashing liquid spraying worked. It's not organic, but systemic bug killer works best on my plants.

I'm in my greenhouse right now...

I'm growing an oak bonsai from acorn. Also use dish soap in water and spray onto the aphids. Do this for a few days and they will dry up and die 👍

I know cinnamon kills gnats and their larvae, don't know if it works on other flies/bugs. It worked on the plants we have here.

Cinnamon, hmm that's exactly why posted this thread, I have not heard of that 1, if anyone has troubles with cats on fresh flower beds lemon peels and moth ball(find these most affective) work well, and I believe the lemon works for quite a few insects too, although the ants like the lemon....go figure?I know cinnamon kills gnats and their larvae, don't know if it works on other flies/bugs.
