Hey everyone,
With the upcoming release of airports I expect there will some players who might think they can GPS spoof under the guise of using airports. On the other hand, there may be many legitimate players erroneously accused of GPS spoofing when using airports.

To help players out before they contact Support, we've added an extra piece of information to turf profiles – now any turf claimed using a player's existing turf (or a nearby airport) will have the line Claimed using nearby turf (or airport). This also applies to any turf created in the past several months.

Spoffing to the airport will be the hard part to catch. Did you ever try that peace of code I sent you?

So what if someone spoof, create a new turf and delete the spoof? Can you catch that?

Server will keep the deleted turf info untill it has been checked. (I guess)

It don't matter anyway NICK. As soon as you land turf anywhere near the airport it gets capped. You have only created a perfect capping "zone" for the turf Hungary cappers... Go figure....

In game airport travel is spoofing in a GPS based game, once Pandora's box is opened there's no going back.

This tool is more to give players more info before they make a complaint – like you said, some players travel frequently, so just because there's no "Claimed using X" on a turf doesn't guarantee GPS spoofing was involved. This is mostly to cut down on the frivolous accusations that often happen when someone turf hops into a town, and will happen when airports are live.

I can imagine how many complaint and accusation you get, sifting through the genuine one and the ones done for spite etc, just that alone would be brain damage, I commend you on basically tryinto mak your life a little easier....I think spoofing must be just like crime, u do once n nervous u do twice and u think this ain't bad...and 3,4,5,6 u just get used to it ,eventually human greed etc will get them caught out in my opinion....it will bite u in the ass,

I'm not even gonna bother hopping to airport yet, gonna wait till all u guys have been there and done that n got bored and novelty worn off, way I look it anyway is if u play more and are more driven and active u deserve to be there right at start and be first involved, as for all the capping round airports, suck it up, and return the favour, if u are a small player take a page out of DBR book an start an alliance and if nothing else be a thorn in their side, if they capping so many ppl they must have pissed enough ppl off that it shouldn't be hard to get a enough ppl together? Just a though

I like that as you may not always want to give your GPS away.
