I hope whoever did this gets a long time in jail this isn't punishing sony this is just theft from everyday people.
If it was hackers anonymous all those who support them effectively endorse theft. -
Long live the wii. 🐻

Im pretty sure anonymous protects free speech and stuff like that, not stealing peoples info on psn. Anonymous didnt want to hurt psn anyways.I hope whoever did this gets a long time in jail this isn't punishing sony this is just theft from everyday people.

I hope that whoever did hack it has the decency and morals not to rip ppl off......1 thing my old man did teach me is , steal anything u want if u can get away with it, but don't steal from ur own and don't don't shit on ur doorstep

The problem with Anonymous is that it's made up of all levels of hackers and script kiddies. So while the group as a whole might have more "honorable" intention, it wouldn't be unexpected for one or more of the kids (and they are mostly kids/teens/young adults with nothing to lose) to be tempted to take that info and use it. -

Jmanx is on the right road. Even though the group might have a good intention not all members share the same thought. Pretty sure they talked about how they hacked Sony and someone probably took it to the next level.

All your credit card information are belong to us (Anonymous) :D
-
How dare they steal our credit card info!!! And all the hard work I put into stealing and cloning cards.....I don't know ppl have no morals nowadays, looks like I'll just have to steal some more royal mail bags, and activation pins and cards, bloody cheek of em, lol, seriously tho it's a horrible feeling thinking someone got ur details, even tho u are more or less safe as u would e reimbursed or covered on insurance, the bank always has to prove u drew the money or used the card,if u deny it and they can't prove it they have to cover ur money, it's under their responsibility until YOU draw out or spend on card, learnt that hard way, and when we quoted law at then the money was replaced within 10 days lol, they will try and worm out of it
-
Who cares! Change your card/pin it's your banks responsibility, your covered by banks theft insurance! I'd rather a hacker steals my info from psn network and sells it online then a thief mugging me for my card cash and pin while I'm at a cash point!!
-
The information is not that big of a deal. Sony messed up but they never got credit card security codes so that's good.
US district attorney is suing Sony, and all the credit card numbers have been red flagged.
I have a ps3 and have never put my credit card on there, but I don't care I just want it back up! -

I don't know about that, lol I guess ur right as covered by bank until u draw ur money out, but i hate faceless crime it's frustrating, at least I have more respect in a mad wayfor someone that tries to steal from u face to face, that situation I feel more at home with and know how to deal with, although they are cowards 99% of time and only try rob people that they can get away with in general, I have a irrational fear of cards and forms and dealing with the processes involved, im a keep ya money under ur mattress kinda guy, lolWho cares! Any one know when it's supposed to be back up?
-
If you go to www.Playstation.com you can see updates on the situation. On April 26 they said some services will be restored within a week.

I still LOVE my playstation and still consider my 360 a necessary evil. But I read that it will be back up Tuesday. Plus a present for everyone with PS3 is rumored, possibly $10-$15 dollars credited to everyone's psn.
several days without PSN and possibly a free game is loads better than having to pay for online gaming, in my opinion. -
