Cheap holiday in USA?
Forums › General Discussion › Cheap holiday in USA?-
We want to book a trip to the USA again for a birthday... There will be 14 people going of mixed ages - from 20-50
Went to Vegas 2 years ago, and want to go back to Florida but it's so expensive for flights- more for a flight to Florida than it is to Vegas, even tho it's SO much less distance.
Does any1 have any good ideas to go to where there will still be 'stuff' to do but isn't guns cost the earth?
-
I'd say come to Los Angeles but it's expensive here, so not sure what your price range is, but if you can afford it's a great place to visit
-
My price range isn't an issue so much... It's some others in the group like my bro who just moved out and every ££ counts at the mo... Trying to get somewhere around £500 - £600 for flight and accommodation if pos. I know it's a tall ask, but we got a week in Vegas at the stratosphere for £450 all in last year...
-
So cal has so much to offer. Mountains, deserts, great beaches, Hollywood, Disney, knots, san Diego, Tijuana.
-
Texas, yup. Direct flight, not too expensive and the friendliest people on the planet.
Just don't take any capo's, folks don't take kindly to that in those parts. 🔫
-
What would you want to be doing though?
-
You need to come visit the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee...
-
Look into renting a timeshare wherever you're going...much cheaper and sometimes there's room for all of you and you could split it. Or split your group half and half into two groups. I love The west coast of Florida, New Orleans, Boston, cape cod (also in Massachusetts), Atlantic city, San Diego, Cal.,and of course, NYC..where I live!!!! Good luck
-
It's not accommodation that's the problem, that's pretty cheap... It's the flights... It's about £200 more EACH to fly to Florida over Vegas even tho it's so much closer...
Need my weekly free plane tickets in real life lol...

It's for 12 - 14 people. Florida would have been nice as I've been before, and the theme parks etc keep you outa most mischief... But with the flights so expensive I don't know what to do... Maybe look at going somewhere nearer to home I suppose...

What of the other suggestions?

-
