Dude sounds like a freaking blast.I just played it today. Much better than my last time...
It's amazing how similar paintball can be to call of duty... Spawn killers... Campers... I even took part in a martyrdom. I am walking in a building, I see a guy shooting out a window in the room right next to me. So I pull out my grenade, jump into the room yelling and just as I'm about to throw my grenade he notices and shoots me up. I fall to the floor with the grenade RIGHT next to me... At least I took the other guy with me.

Is paintball expensive hobby? I can't even remember how much it costs through a company just usingall their equipment, let alone owning the guns/markers yourself? I bet the air canisters are prob the most costly thing considering you could go through quite a few in a day I guess
-
It can be. I compare it to playing golf. You can dump $1000s on your clubs and bag and memberships or you can buy hacker clubs and old range balls.
The biggest expense after buying gear would be the paintballs but that would be based on how much you intend to go through in a day. Canisters refills are cheap. -
I have a semi low end marker...cost me about 300 bucks for the kit...then I upgraded a bunch of parts and a nice after market barrel and one of the best hoppers going and I keep up just fine...sometimes it's not the tool but how you use it...now if I where to take my mr2 to a speedball field I'd get obliterated...so I'll stick to the woods thanks

Speedball field? I'm assuming that would be a more open space? And /or automatic markers/guns? And also what would be a rough guide as to price of paintballs?
-
Well were I live its 40$ for. 2000 balls

You tube search some speedball games and then google Oklahoma d-day game...the left and right of the spectrum. Speedball is competitive and done in sort of like an open feil with brightly coloured obstacles to take cover behind. It's paintball as a "sport". Woodsball is a broad catch all for scenario based games or tactical based games where they can have elaborate forts and bunkers...hll I've seen a few atv's converted to tanks at some good woodsball games.Speedball field? Look on eBay.... Bob Long Marq VII, great for speedball!! Or for around 200 bucks you can get an Invert Mini
-
Aren't bob longs really expensive though?
-
I didn't say it was cheap... You wanna spend $200? Buy an Invert mini... Good starter gun, lightweight and will shoot ropes!

Alright thank you
