It looks like I'm gonna have to have surgery to remove a plate in my neck that's pressing against my spinal cord, just wondering if anyone else has had this done and if it went well or did u have complications

The doctors can do amazing things now a days. I had my leg amputated the attached back on but backwards.
And I friend of mine had some plates put in to her spine because it healed wrong. That's almost the same as yours. She fine now and plays in a national hockey team. Everything went fine.

I had surgery on my upper back 10 years ago. They cut out parts of the discs and the bone...it worked amazing for me, and medacine has gotten a lot better since then. I woke up after the surgery with no pain and I've been good for a decade. Good luck to you for a succesful surgery and a quick recovery

Make sure you have a good anaesthetist! And be completely honest with them!

Hear the words 'operation, neck & spinal cord' in the same sentence gives me the shivers. Good luck mr gotti, just reset so you won't worry to much about turf wars during your recovery 😜

Don't worry Jon. Standard op these days. As long as your pecker works it's all good.
