(Girls or boys so I don't get lynched for being sexist...or brunettes too) After taking a trip up north I highlighted the fact that the journey home seemed a lot quicker to which my girl responded that it would do as it's all downhill on the way back. No dear, going south does not mean we're going downhill...

We once had a powercut and a few days later I commented to my mrs how the (battery powered) wall clock was showing the wrong time. "it must have reset itself during the power cut" she said. Priceless!
