I remember these players, but I'm curious what they did that got them removed? Was it two people or just one with two accounts? Fill me in with a summary or something.

GPS spoofing, influence glitching, and probably so other stuff... I had a screenshot of the influence glitching they did...

I've had it happen once but I don't know how to do it did they have a way to always make it happen?

they had jailbroken devices...
Your's probably was a gps lag... I've had that before when I'm barely in range of wifi.
I think they also go free don points from the jailbroken store.

The influence glitch happens when you buy all the upgrades for a turf but it only reads partially upgraded. So lets say you should have 84 influence but you look at your turf and it's only at 64. If you then sell all your upgrades the turf will become 255 influence through the glitch and you can use it to build much further away, which is pretty much all it's good for. It doesn't give you more money for that turf or anything although it use to but the devs fixed that.

You can't really create the glitch but you can encourage it by getting on a slow connection, like a barely there wifi signal, E or sometimes 3G and buy and sell upgrades as quickly as possible until the turf influence is to low for what you've bought, then sell for a negative influence and it becomes 255.I haven't seen the glitch in weeks though so it might be fixed entirely.

There are also people who have seen a similar glitch where their build radius is 1000s of miles wide, but I've never had that happen for myself.
