Jailbreaking question

I'm wanting to jailbreak my iPhone and I have everything downloaded and ready to go. My question is this: does jailbreaking remove all apps I had downloaded and photos and all that good stuff? I just want to know if I should expect that or not. Thanks!

Use google and on Cydia there is a app to keep what u download and so don't lose things when doing a sync with iTunes. Do a search for how to keep apps when doing a sync with iTunes on jail broken phones
