What is your secret ingredient ?
I know it's a secret !?!I put worcestershire sauce & spices while cooking the meat.

Vodka does add a nifty kick.

I sauté the onions first & I add a tsp of sugar to the sauce. I'm no chef though.

Crushed red peppers, fresh thinly sliced garlic and whatever the hell is in those awesome Italian mixed spices containers. 🍝

Lemon juice, a lil sugar, a lil bacon

Shallots and a touch of brown sugar.

Lots of garlic and a couple of dashes of cayenne pepper.

Mmm Penne all' Arrabiata with the crushed redpeppers.
My grandma would make s sauce with Mex chorizo. It had a "unique" flavor but I liked it ☺

Carrots, onion, celery, 150g each chopped very fine, fried until soft. Then pork mince 300g and beef mince 600g fried in batches on high heat until brown and catching on the pan. Deglase the pan with half a glass of White wine and reserve the liquor. 1 whole tube of triple concentrated tomato purée and a large glass of White wine plus the liquor collected earlier. Then add 400ml of milk in small amounts over 4 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Salt and plenty of black pepper to taste.
