Seriously people, that's all it takes. New players whine cause they see 20k mobs and think "I'll never get that big" or see people with 1,000's of turfs and think they'll never have that many. But did any of the big players get that big overnight? NO! If you want to make it big you gotta put in the work. Despite what you might have learned in your little league baseball team with your "participation trophies", everyone isn't a "winner" just cause they show up to play. The people who succeed are the ones that put in the work and the TIME.

But, JmanX, how can I catch up if they keep growing? The top players now won't always be here. There is definitely a burn-out time for most, including the big guys. Who the heck though thuglife would ever quit? MANY big players have quit and let smaller players catch up. If you stick around and keep working you'll make your way up over time.

So please, quit bitching and get to work.

Yup, like any MMO you gotta put the time in to be a big player. If you don't, and want to be a smaller casual player, that's okay too. Just don't bitch about it, and remember we're all here to have fun! 👊👊

👏👏👏 Seriously. Even the newer guys who really put in the work, like BW$, get pretty far pretty quick.

Even me- I've been here forever and only focused on a couple things for a long time. I thought I'd NEVER EVER get anywhere near the influence & area leaderboards because I had like 150 turfs when people were breaking 1000. But now I'm like #8 or 9 in the world, I'm nowhere near full influence and I've only capped 8 turfs in the past 5 days.

Basically, you'd be surprised at what you can do in TW if you follow JmanX's steps.

Good advice. I can definitely say that I was one of those whiny bitches that went crazy about putting in all the time and what not, but I've been getting into the habit of pinching temps and I've already gone up 1k in some weeks (I would get to the code sites, but I'm a little busy with RL (preparing for college, to be specific)). Although that isn't the biggest gain of mob, I've also learned how to be patient on it. So I now know that its ok to hope to be in the high ranks of the game, but it takes A LOT of time. Seriously, patience is the key to success in this game.

Looking forward to the view from up top!
