So my cat has this problem woth his blatter. Long story short, we took him to the vet, spent over $2500 on him. If he gets his blatter clogge again he will need a surgery that's in the $3000-$3500 range. What would you do?

Put it down. Animals are great but no reason to spend that much when 15 others like it can be found at your local SPCA or humane society
-
Well it's a something you have to decide yourself... Strangers can not answer that really
-
What about pet insurance?

Agree - go to local animal welfare groups who will be able to advise you. There may be charities willing to help if you cannot afford the treatment.Well it's a something you have to decide yourself... Strangers can not answer that really

It's not that easy. Long term pets become a part of the family. U wouldn't put a family member down and go get another would u?! Human or animal, the emotions an memories attached hold no difference. Its a choice only u can make Eyecu.Put it down. Animals are great but no reason to spend that much when 15 others like it can be found at your local SPCA or humane society

We decided if the cat would have any changes to it (pill taking, consistent shots, etc.) after the surgery we'd put him down; but if all we had to do was buy this type of food the vet prescribed than we'd keep him.

I personally can't justify spending that much money on a pet, im sure there are more important things to be spending your money on

Spell bladder right.

One time I spent $2000 on a bird then it ied right after... I recommend putting it down.

Think whats best for your animal, not what's best for you.

Easy typo. Blatter can't be a typo. You don't do two T's unless you think you're right.ChainedHunter wrote:

If Mr Big Cat had bladder problems I'd get him some yellow pyjamas with a cup sewn into the crotch. No way I'd put him down. Yawn would be all lost at sea. Perhaps you could find a similar solution??

Spell bladder right.Regardless of how many "I've changed posts you post.". Clearly, once a troll, always a troll.

Good luck with your pet eyecu, I, personally, spoil our puppies like kids. And would be devistated if anything happened to them.
-
Put it down.
I've had lots of pets that became family.
But pets have a shorter life span than people.
It's hard but thats life. Animals die.I never understood how people could spend so much money on a pets health, unless it's a pedigree dog and the puppies are worth thousands surgery is out of the question

If I had the cash I would spend it on my pet. Also, you have to decide whether your pet is suffering.

Why can't I correct spelling if other people can? Does that make mystery a troll? I didn't troll, I advised someone in two different ways. Are guidance councilors trolls? They give advice.ChainedHunter 2 hours ago Quote

You really should NEVER correct spelling again. COUNCILORS...seriously. The point was this person was struggling with how to deal with a pet that they may lose, you come in correcting grammar. All the while, your posts look as if a drunk 5 year old pieced them together. You're just a douche.
