Why do respect points cost a good 20% more in Australia even though the Aussie dollar and American are pretty much the same

Import tax? (as though they are considered a good from the US (since everything comes from Nick's servers in San Francisco) and are thus being imported to your country)

Valid point.. Its the Itunes conversion that needs looking into. The new items eg. Ipad2 has come down in price, but not the itunes exchange rate.
