Turf wars Skill factor?
Forums › General Discussion › Turf wars Skill factor?-
Ok first of all let me say i'm a relatively new player and don't know a great deal about the history, tactics etc of this game
Also i did make some real dumb moves to begin with
I started my first cluster of turfs right next to someone who is a major player in my area and surprise surprise he just culls a few of my prime turfs whenever he feels like it.
Which if it continues means i cannot make any serious advancements.
Also to begin with every hour i just hit the same local weaker players to get money
I now travel around a lot more!
My question is that to me it looks like to be a top player you have to have been an early entrant to the game, spammed your invite code endlessly and well played a reasonably sensible game.
Beyond that i can't see a great deal of tactics, skill or alliance forming going on
Have any major players ever been cut down to a low level by a group of smaller players -
Please inform me
The two vendettas i have been involved in went virtually nowhere
Just silly threats that resulted in a stalemate that changed nothing! -
When I first started I was more then culled, I was completely kicked out of the city by a bigger player. Part of the challenge of turf wars is that there's little wiggle room. The skill comes from learning to advance given seemingly impossible odds. Just how do you beat a player that you can't win against in a fight? That's the whole challenge. Vendetta, if used right, levels it a bit but it's not a magic bullet.

You have to make your own goals in this game. The basic goal is simple, have a bigger mob and you'll win when you fight. But it's an empty victory. If you look at the biggest players you'll see either that they're doing something a little different, challenging themselves, or they get bored and quit.
For smaller players it's easier so really the challenge only increases as you get bigger. Because the real goal of this game is to have fun for as long as possible.

Basicly Nixon is saying punch mob codes and buy better wepons also you can try to get a stronger player to join a vendetta with you. So no, no skill is needed.

Depends on how you want to play the game

Heh, that's the opposite of what I said. The game is what you put into. If you're an empty shell then take that to mean what T Block thinks.

I'm quite skilled at Rugby if that's any good...

I am a dab hand at tackling and have a decent pass...
