I am getting the iPod 4th generation and was wondering if it's possible that if I downloaded turf wars onto the new one, wood my profile and everything still be there???

No the profile is on the iPod it sucks I had to start over with this iPod when I bought it

Restore the new iPod from a backup of your old one and it will transfer everything
If not u can use your username and password to login and use your existing account on the new ipod

What you have to do is send feedback and ask then to help, then they will manually transfer your account from the old iPod to the new one, just know your password. The TW support people ar very helpful

You don't even need that. There is an option when you first download to sign in as an existing character. Then just sign in using your PW. You won't need feedback until you want to remove your acct fron your old device.
