What makes a TW legend?

  I understMd what white n nerdy is saying, u can have players that are liked and considered legends that do not have high stats mob etc,(but have othe qualities that theyare recognised for) in same token u cud have someone no1 likes or even respects gameplay but their stats speak for themselves,both wud be legends,legend =memory of player,memories are stored n catergorised by emotion,so basically the more emotional a player makes others the more remembered he would be? Anyone agree?

  I think we've established that it's easier to work out what DOESN'T make a TW legend than what does. There are so many different ways that someone becomes a legend and ultimately it's subjective anyway. For instance you have old school legends who most players won't know but the vets would consider as legendary who now have 3k mobs which was huge in their day which is nothing now. Ultimately I think it's how you're judged by the TW community as a whole.

  Agreed random. Those who I consider legendary are also few and far between. I think this is something that also comes with time. Legendary status is thrown around too easily these days.

  A legend in my mind is somone who defines an era in TW.
  For example when I think of the really old days Tyresious and thenigga spring immediately to my mind. A little later fruit, horsehead, JCMC may have krept in to the legendarry category.

  Then we had the Dawn of TWFC. Obviously major players like Britfury, Shag, Maisie mai, were the big names on peoples lips then.

  Then I think of the birth of DBR. Ickle, mr big cat, (both who were around in the last era but became big players later) Bas.

  People who define what tw is at the time are legends.

  (obviously USA might have a legend or 2, but I'm not the one to state them)

  Oh that's not a comprehensive list btw. People keep spring back to mind that deserve a place with the greats for various reasons. Messrine and Richie for example. So dont feel left out if I didnt mention you.

  Realistically there is no good way to define a "legend" in the game. Everyone has different parameters for what they consider a legend or a folk hero or anything else. As for a committee to vote on legends, I disagree. Tbh that turns it from a legend into a popularity contest. Legends are both good and bad and popularity has almost nothing to do with it. While this is a rest question I don't think there is a good answer that can be agreed on.
