New cap range rule !

I think this is a great idea and I will defo be buying 1000 turf limit and using all my limit Now
It will b nice to leave my hops where I go like at the start of the game and the fact that iv been lazy on codes compared to my comrades isn't going to stop me having an impact on my enemies. Happy days !

Hop lines are a waste of income potential.

Agreed. But I suppose people have different aims. Look at add swaggers hop to lands end absolutely pointless. What I most resent in the move to mob based capture range is that I now have no control over my own destiny. I am a prisoner to my code punching success.

It depends. If you have already planted the turf (which you have to in order to hop) and you're not planning on planting that turf in another spot or cannot afford to replant it in a high income zone you may as well conserve the money already spent in planting and let it earn a little. Emphasis on a little, though, usually. I am notorious for hop lines. Usually because I hate tearing down and maintain a lot of excess turf.

It'll be fine. I'm not a huge fan either but range isn't going up much at all for most of us I suspect. Most bigger players have a lot of turf regardless of influence. My guess is only a handful of players will notice a huge increase in range.

What I want to know is how this will effect the game this time next year. Will people in the uk be able to cap over the channel?

It will be interesting to see it in practice. I guess a lot of us will all have something new to learn. The slate will be clean as we will all essentially be noobs to this. Many strategies will have to be re thought. Good all round I say. I think some fine tuning will be needed possibly but we'll see.

It's just cap range. Well have it figured out in like 2 hours.

Lol probably not but I am going to find out exactly how much range you get for diference in mob and make a post I'm hopping 5k + is a substantial distance lol

You say that but silent Joe only figured out the old cap range rule last week. Then he tore down a whole loads of turf and now it's changing. I guess he's really chuffed.

Yeah, I've known about the rule all along. The way I see it I'm getting it the worst at least for now. I'll be the guinea pig. I'll be doing a whole lot of testing over the next week
