I just watched this(a little late I know) and I thought it was such a thought provoking film.but it's also the saddest film I've ever seen.im not sure if any of you have watched it but the ending minute was really sad.

It's a metaphor for apartheid in South Africa. And yes, it's based on a true story. It's based on the short film, "Alive in Joburg," of 2005. The short film told of events in District 6, Cape Town, during the apartheid era of recent South African history.
