  I tried it yesterday but it doesn't have enough photo editing tools, which is what I'm really interested in.

  Have you tried picture magic? I think that's it's name. It has more effects and what not to it. I was only browsing through the Free apps. I don't like spending $$ on an app I'm not sure about.

  @Brown, do you use both flickr web and the app?

  I'll let you look at my flickr sometime. I did quite well but am mildly embarassed by my inferior equipment. Btw brown love your work.

  My favorite Flickr app is "Mobile Fotos".

  I think the point of instagram is that it's really quick and easy to post stylized images and share them with other iDevice users. The effects are few, but a couple of them really stand out.

  My problem is I like to use real cameras, too.

  Thanks! Obsessive behaviour works in photography just like it does in turfwars.

  Equipment doesn't matter... Share it with me! I love looking at pictures more than I do making them.

  It's a pretty sweet, few more filters and effects would be good, Pretty solid Lil app for some easy photography

  It's incredibly awesome! Something I am attempting to encourage without going overboard. Feeding him the right tools as his interest grows. But, yes, he has a natural eye and I will post more of his work as he picks out what he said is his "better stuff." LOL. Right now I'm trying to figure out a good "real" starter camera for him to begin to experiment and learn on. Input welcome! I only took a single photography class in design school. My art experience is mostly painting and sculpture.

  For little ones I'd recommend the Olympus tough cameras. They are unfortunately metal, but they are drop proof and spill proof. They are very compact. They start in the 200 range I think. The high end ones are around 3-4 hundred.

  The camera in my profile picture is a vtech tough camera, but it's more toy than camera.

  Thinking about it, that vtech is better than my first 110 camera was.

  Thanks for the recommendation! Drop/spill proof is my main concern--though he's been good with the iPod thus far. I had my concerns there. My own first cameras were a 110 and my mother's Brownie she had saved. That Brownie was actually a lot of fun.

  Hipstamatic is a camera app. Instagram is a photo sharing/editing app. So they can go hand in hand. If you add me, some of the shots I've added are taken with M's Hipstamatic.
