Is this game ever going to go to the android market?
-
I hope so, at least SOME other market. iPhone is pretty limited in market
-
Excuse me, I mean IPhone/IPod/IPad, but even that is pretty limited. Turf wars probably has an exclusive deal with Apple ITunes and can't expand for x amount of years or something like that.

Why would they have an exclusive deal with Apple, Nick can develop the app for any platform!Excuse me, I mean IPhone/IPod/IPad, but even that is pretty limited. Turf wars probably has an exclusive deal with Apple ITunes and can't expand for x amount of years or something like that.

There's no exclusive deal with apple. Nick has talked to several android users that he is thinking about it. I hope so as was pointed out the iOS market is way too limited and restrictive forcing many of us to go to android where you can actually get cool apps

Apple don't do exclusivity with apps unless it's potential is in the millions. Even then it wouldn't be as simple. I'm sure the devs have been researching new platforms for a while, I would be.
-
It'll probably be one of the single biggest expansions of the userbase if it does happen. Very very sore eyes and chaffed thumbs to look forward to!
-
I think it definitely on cards , look at it this way, it's tried n tested on idevice's ,it's pretty successful...to open up to android would prob double the potential player, and speaking in business terms would mean more money, maximising their consumer Market and profits,Dnt know how much would cost to port to android but I'm sure they would recoup that money within months
-
I bit don't make dollars it dont make sense! And by that pricking it would make sense that I not another platform,we should at least see on android as the phones(desire, galaxy, experia, htc hd,etc) have the same qualitys capabilities as iPhone, ease of use of map etc,(couldn't imagine on a blackberry 9700, but the torch yes) so that's why I have hopes for android, maybe not others as nokia symbian is looking like finished,bb really have the torch, maybe the storm that could play on(properly) and maybe windows7 phones ,but if look at Market they uncertainties,os n android are gonna be around and worth investing in

If it don't make dollars,
Pricking=principle -

I doubt it. It's like asking 1 software version to work on both windows and mac. Then again, there could be a common factor amoungst mobile OS's. But porting is far away, let them atleast research first lol.But if it comes on android wool he b able to move your account to the android? The sooner the better!
How about symbian?
Hell the work involved must be immense... especially to get it all to work together. Does Angry birds or doodle jump work the same on each platform? -
Symbian? It's just about dead.
-
Angry birds is the same, so is parallel kingdom... Parallel Kingdom is alot like this... Btw my referral code is, emjhg

I can log on with both my iPhone and iPad so I don't see any obstacles to associating another device with your account.
I think the Turf Wars client should be fairly simple to port: no fancy 3D graphics and most of the work seems to be on the server side. One issue with Android is that the openness may facilitate cheating, such as GPS spoofing.
