I just got a text from my buddy telling me that he started downloading the wikileaks collection with peer blocker turned on and it informed him that the department of defense and the US army smith barracks tried to hack his shit or something.

All is fair. You should know the government is watching that site like a hawk as Im sure multiple other international governments. It would probably be wise to avoid that site altogether
-
Not illegal to get that info, or they would have shut he sites down long ago. Good to get some transparency that was promised but not delivered by Obama. I'm for anything that dicks a politician over because oh his own actions!

“What are the differences between Mark Zuckerberg and me? I give private information on corporations to you for free, and I’m a villain. Zuckerberg gives your private information to corporations for money and he’s Man of the Year.” – Julian Assange

The whole thing stinks, it's the dude who hacked the files I feel sorry for, that chopper video was unbelievable. Those poor kids in the van must have been so scared.

Wikileaks would have been plugged 8 years ago. By England and Australia.
8 years ago, the left threw a reporter in jail for not divulging the source for the Valerie Plame leak, and then prosecuted the wrong leak because he was a republican.
Wikileaks is as heroic as the mole in your alliance, feeding intel both ways.
If he was leaking climate change scandals, you guys would be all over him.
Politics is dirty. You guys are practicing politics.
-
The climate change lies were leaked, UEA had files stolen off laptop which basicly said a whole lot of the data was made up, I was in the news about a year back. Not as serious as a heavily armed chopper shooting up civillians though.
-
The chopper pilot was doing his job. AKs can bring down an apache as can RPGs. If you run around a warzone with those items you should expect bad shit to happen.
Julian assange and that pissant private manning should both be executed. Manning for treason and assange for espionage. -

Didn't we already go over this with you? You should know damn well it's not a "chopper" running around shooting civilians. It's a war zone. It was announced beforehand through air-dropped leaflets that anyone not involved in the fight should evacuate. The climate change lies were leaked, UEA had files stolen off laptop which basicly said a whole lot of the data was made up, I was in the news about a year back. Now we have a group of armed individuals walking away from what was reported to the pilot as active combat.
What would you do?
-
No you haven't, and I only described like that to save time. The film speaks for its self, the people on the street posed no threat to the pilot and could have been easily investigated by the ground troops that arrived soon after the shooting stopped. I may be wrong but im shure no guns were found? Also nothing excuses the attitude of the people relaying the intel over the radio, or the fact that the children were taken to a civilian hospital when they should have been treated by the us medical staff. It's not the only incident in which crazy horse 18 has hurt civilians or those wanting to surrender.
What would I do? Think before shooting. -
Every time I watch that video, I scratch my head at why people think there was some scandal there.
There WERE guns there, so yes, you are wrong.
There were two reporters there WITH WHO? Not American troops, obviously.
It was a simple mistake to think a Canon 400mm lens is an RPG, and the guys carrying weapons were indistinguishable from the guys with rifles.
The bast case solution here would have been to kill everyone BUT the two idiot reporters without American troop escorts.
-
Cameras, not rifles...
-
As a photographer, all I have to say to a guy carrying a 3-foot long lens into battle, get a fucking Leica. That thing looked like a big ass gun, and it's stupid to walk into a hot war zone with it without a military escort. The pilot and gunner did absolutely NOTHING wrong. The video did speak for itself. Textbook professionalism by the US Military.
-
Its an impossible situation, of course our instincts and training inthe army teach to eliminate the threat. Coupled with young inexperienced solders, and fear, cos Everyman on both sides must have fear,we can't blame the individual soldiers as they have been trained to do so,and anyone can make mistakes,I'm sure they luv with I everyday,my nephew does he in place down southern USA getting help

Nothing wrong? Sorry did you not see the two children, why did they not follow the law and take them with to treat. The usmc clearly states in there law of war ,collect and care for the wounded, wether friend or foe, along with treat all civilians humanly. If there intending to open fire on a group of people, being professionals they should be able to tell the difference between a camera lense and an rpg.

Be honest. Hindsight aside, could you tell the difference? A guy squatting behind a wall with a large tube. Nope. I'd take them out in a second, and finding out later that it was a mistake, it was the fault of the journalists, not mine.Nothing wrong? What do you have to say about the other 10 people whose "stories are unknown"? Unlawful combatants. Instant execution is the proper response.
The kids lived, right? Sent to a hospital... How cruel.
-
Krazijay, I agree but it's more than a mistake when 9 people are killed going about there business. We can blame the individuals and should, everybody is accountable for there own actions. I don't think fear can be used to justify why they done what they did, they wernt inexperienced people in the chopper and it's not the only time they have done it, as I said there is a catalogue of "mistakes" associated with this unit, this is the only time they have been caught out unfortunately.

What kind of colored glasses are you wearing?

Look! There goes the point,
Shame, you just missed it. -

You've got 10 years of nasty war to look at, and you are picking on an action where everything was done right?
Why? Because "innocent" journalists were killed? This was all their fault. If they weren't killed, they would have been locked up.
How many journalists were killed while being properly escorted by coalition forces? Several, I'm sure. Why don't you carefully study THAT video and talk about the mistakes of the real bad guys?
-
Were watching the same video just from different perspectives, i disagree with you on this but can't keep trying to make my point, so we can agree to disagree. Have a good weekend and keep out of trouble.

OG BennyB, quit being a Monday Morning Quaterback. You were not in the situation and you have NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE DONE YOU FUCKING DOUCHE BAG. Were you ever in a combat situation? Have you ever been in a school yard fight? Until you experience the chaos of an actual battle you have NO RIGHT TO QUESTION WHAT THOSE PILOTS DID! And about the radio chatter....WHO GIVES A FUCK HOW THEY TALK ON THE RADIO? They just finished KILLING PEOPLE. That is a very traumatic experience. MANY MANY soldiers detach themselves from the act of killing another human by talking about it in a way that seems to most people to be cruel. Who gives a shit. About the kids, how many refugees are there from other wars? The parents of said kids should have fled from the area if they were so concerned..
What would I do? Think before shooting. -
I was a medic while in the service. I can promise you, 90% of medics would treat their own wounded first, then wounded civilians and then might consider treating wounded enemy combatants. I was issued 1 vial of morphine. You know who would have gotten that? Only an american. It wasn't going to be given to any other soul no matter how badly injured. As for the civilian hospital treating the kids, What is wrong with that? You send the patient to the next highest level of care. Who are you to say if the hospital they went to was shitty or not? The hospitals in Iraq have gotten quite a boost since we have been there.
-
And about Crazy Horse performance record....YOU WERE NOT THERE. You don't know what happened in those situations.
I was in Iraq and I almost shot a fucking moron for pointing a TOY GUN at another person. And we almost shot about 4 kids in the following few days because they were running around with fake AKs that looked very real. If we would have shot those people, asshats like you would have crucified us without ever experiencing the situation. So I say to you FUCK OFF you arrogant prick -
One of the guys at my martial arts class just told me I look really like Julian assange...
-
I'm sorry to hear that
-
Look. So the ARMED guys were just standing in the open. That immediate area is blown to pieces. Then, some stupid person with a van full of kids goes STRAIGHT to the EXACT spot that just got blown into pieces. So they just entered the hit zone.
-
😲😲😱😱 what do expect when fucking with the americans. like it has been mentioned they all had prior warning to leave the area only a moron would have put THEMSELVES in that kind of danget

*danger

My nephew is a humble and compassionate guy very caring.joined forces don't know why.
