Baz it's got to be curry out the two. And if you are in Notts then go to the Balti House in Hockley...cheap tacky decor but the food is exceptional...and reasonably priced! Nice.

Think I've been there, it was alright. I went to Chutneys on Maidmarion Way last night, that was good. Not cheap though :)

um, Chinese. herro!!!

altho curry chips are something to behold. boiled in oil vs. boiled in oil in a wok. wok beats frialator. paper covers wok... oops wrong game. (and that is "wrong" not "long" mind you...)

Chutneys is good but you're right very pricey. Sapnas on St James Street is an experience in it's own right.
