EVERYTHING in Judiasim seems quirky as anything...even to many jews! But there's an explanation for everything... I could go on for hours answearing everything even with my very limited knowledge...

You practically grew up as a Jew, you can go on to do what you want.

Yeah there are Jews that eat pork and such and "convert" ... But all religions have this... Muslims...Christians... Please... No religion has EVERYONE perfect angels...

You can live The "Jewish lifestyle" live it, love it. But according to Jewish law... You don't have too.

Liberal/reform/conservatives are incorrect... And so are the assumptions that Jews despise it and lash at it like others... Jewdisim doesn't condone or approve of it... There's no such thing as a woman rabbi or a Jewish law approved homosexual marriage... For some reason all these things came from the Reform movement many years ago

I've always thought it was odd. for a people who have been enslaved and marginalized for hundreds of years, in the states where there are twice as many atheists as there are jews, that they wouldn't take as many supporters as fucking possible.

i give up hamotz for a week every year. I make funny pseudo molecular gastro freeze dried apple powder desserts for rosh hashana. I fast. I yarhzeit. I make latkes for family meal. i dress up I'm Halloween costumes in the spring time. I'll never give up pigs. I know they're sly because they got cloven hoofs but don't chew their cud. but good lord, they are delicious. I got hardons for lardons. nom nom nom.
