Loving NASCAR and hating Gays is the redneck way of life!!
You could say your very closemided on the upbringing of folk like rednecks, just because you have been taught to accept homosexuals in modern city day to day life it doesn't mean the whole has, gay men are still stoned in some countries, and just because a small portion of the world accepts it it doesn't mean the rest has to!!

yes you are right. those that take a stand against ignorance and bigotry most certainly strike me of echoing Hitler.

regarding gays still being stoned in some cultures, clearly the only decent response to this is acceptance and passivity.

it all makes sense now.
