All right metal guitarists I need advice...

I play bass mostly but picked up my first guitar. I've always been around a guitar but never had my own. I play clean bass but am now looking at distortion pedals for the guitar. Any suggestions? I'm playing a 6 string Ibanez artcore 300, if that matters. Basically looking for an inexpensive all around decent pedal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest to light it on fire n smash it then scream at the top of your lungs into the mic 😄 I promise you ull will the battle of the bands you're talking about 😼

Thanks primo but she's brand new and oh so pretty...be shame to light her on fire...at least not until I'm in a heroine filled rage from shitting myself on stage during withdrawals.

Line6 pod. Boss gt series. 300ish £.

Ummm 300 pounds is like 450 Canadian...u missed the part where I said inexpensive lol...I don't have that kinda coin and if I did I'd put it towards an fx rack

Lol, fair enough. You can pick up a second hand gt for much less. The gt3 is old now, but will do anything you want. £120 on eBay.

Fx rack? For what?

How about the all in one Amplitude or such-like effects emulator apps on the iPhone/iPod touch? All the effects you need in a handy portable format. I know you travel, so you could take the guitar along (space allowing). Just a thought....

Get a Line 6 spider IV. Amp with built in effects. Or if you already have an amp get the digitech rp-series multi effects pedal. Just some suggestions use to play some metal back in the day.
