I just came back from the shops and on the way back there was a small jam.we go round side and there's a crowd.in the middle there's a kid Lying on the floor.he's fucking around 8 years old and I doubt he'll ever walk again.he wasn't unconcious but looked nearly out of it.his top half was fine but his legs were fucking wrecked.there was blood all around his feet and his socks were soaked.his left foot was fucking snapped in half and you could see bone and his other looked like it was hanging off.not many people see this sort of shit and be glad if you haven't coz that has fucking scarred me for life.shit...

It's on Some minor news sites now.not too much description though.just says he has serious leg injures but nor life threatening.it's weird to think while I was buying milk and pizza a kid was getting run over just half a mile away.he had to be airlifted coz his legs were so bad.he will not walk again and by the way his legs were looking I think he might lose his feet above the ankle.Im shocked how something like that can happen to someone that young.his life will probably be ruined now.

Well as shocking and as sad as it is his life won't be ruined...people with disabilities lead perfectly good, rewarding lives. Horrible it happened but at 8 he'll adapt rather quickly. I shattered my elbow and it was a fucking mess, I can't believe that they were able to rebuild that shit and now 5 years later it's almost like it didn't happen. The initial pile of blood and gore makes things look reaaaally bad, but medical science astounds me sometimes. Not under cutting your story, just looking for a ray of sunshine for this little guys very bleak situation.

Disabilities don't ruin your life. They just give you a chance to show how adaptable the human body really is. Besides someone that young has a pretty chance of being able to go those bones back to where he might just need a few pins

I didn't mean as in ruin his life totally but I'd say being in a wheelchair/not being able to walk Is pretty life messing up.and yeah I know the blood and gore makes it look worse but not in this case.I was looking out my car window about 2 metres away from his legs.both bones were completely snapped.I doubt he'll be able to afford one/two of those weird robotic leg thingys.but as BigBK said he might not need amputating or the bones might grow back properly but he'll be in a wheelchair for at least 5 mOnths I'm guessing by the look of them.
