Man u guys have got to remember who made the computer we did. no matter what, any computers limitations are equal to the people that made the computer us. no computer can be smarter than all of human kind.

I'm guessing people are starting to look for answears. The government will run out of excuses and schemes, and unleash the top secret weapon first used hundreds of years ago... A scapegoat.
Not just any scapegoat... The very same that has been used 90% of all these years. One that will be believed no matter how "sophisticated" society is... Get ready to jump back to a simpler times, times of auto de fau, ghettos, blood libels... -

I think the Matrix situation could perhaps be avoided by unplugging a computer from a wall. The situation I am concerned about is job issues; however, all this is really entertainment. Let's unleash paranoid fears. Lmao.

Unplugging a computer from a wall? It's not that easy... We can't just do away with ANY of our electronics...
Also, we need our paranoid fears to keep us up at night... Coffee and redbull lose their effect after some time 😉

please. replace as many humans as possible with machines. at least the drive through would get my order right.

Humans will die out in the next 300 years.

Computer intelligence is growing very quickly, if you consider that in the next ten years a computer will have as much memory as a human brain, with the continued growth of this it won't be long after that a computer will have the same memory as the entire human race, were talking yearsMan u guys have got to remember who made the computer we did. no matter what, any computers limitations are equal to the people that made the computer us. no computer can be smarter than all of human kind.

I encourage all of you to become members of HUAR...Humans United Against Robots. We need to be ready. Skynet can bite me.

It's incorrect to think that humans can never make something "smarter" than themselves. How fast/accurately can you simulate a nuclear explosion? Or even render a shaded polygon? What is the basis of "better" than a human?
Besides: you can't "Just unplug the god damned thing!"
"We can't do that General. The silos would interpret the shutdown as the destruction of NORAD, and launch their missiles."
Didn't you see Wargames???

Survival plain and simple. No matter how sophisticated we make computers they have no instincts for survival. You'd be amazed what a human can do to survive, how quick we can think.
