If you hate the game so much, why are you posting in this thread all the time?International day huh? I think you guys both take this game too seriously. Games are made to have fun, I wasn't having fun doing nothing.
I'll keep enjoying what I'm doing until I've had enough, until then you two continue your whine fest.
And I'm sorry you're not in a iPhone-heavy area. Welcome to the wild world of GPS games.
I leapfrogged from Montreal to almost NYC...
People are so narrow minded...
Hey Nick build turfs around willburrr or Ill attack and capture your turfs again...

Mon Dieu!!! Thuglife has spoken!!!
Hey Thug, the true reason you had to leapfrog from Montreal to NYC is:
1. You couldn't get a furlough from prison
2. "special people" who wear helmets are not allowed to leave the hospital
3. Your bicycle with the orange flag wouldn't clear customs at the border
4. OtherTurfwars players, you decide...

Nah its because canadians call us FROGS 🐸

i love my helmet ok it saved my life and stop laughing about my tricycle ok ?

Because the threads are all that is a little exiting about this. Fun to make people mad... You know. And he didn't say anything about GPS in this post your quoting on he also said he will keep playing until the game got less exiting. Your coming up with stuff based on a quote he didn't mention anything your saying in. Why did you quote him at all? Just say it. By the way Tom, I'm with you on the whole quit pretty soon thing... It's getting old.Tom Hagen wrote:

I started in the city where Tom also started...he was really respectful to us little upstarts. He wanted to grow the game. (maybe selfishly I guess) we got bored.
Nick, you created a good game. It will evolve I'm sure In the future. And I'm also sure Tom is going to stick around to see the changes, but you can only let sleeping dragons lie for a short time. Tom, go ape and let everyone try to stop you. I'll try too. Vendetta anyone? It'll be fun to watch. -
So when's the blog/Twitter page coming? Or is it gonna be on fb?

What I dislike is how quickly you release things, like Vendattas that are aren't functioning properly even though we brought up the same things in beta.
I also dislike the fact attack/defense stats are worthless, we've had the same jobs since level 15, the whole lack of weapon varieties and to top it all off the fact you seem to be communicating all of nothing to us about fixing any of these short comings.
-
Also with how badly vendattas are broken, I have no reason to even open up the app.

You're right, letting players team up, with no downside, even when you claimed there is on, that doesn't appear. Makes perfect balance sense. It's amazing that this game you made Nick, you don't realize how badly it's balanced.
Currently, for example BadFish made a Vendetta vs. me. I'm fine with that I was taking his turfs. But as I understood anyone in the Vendetta is supposed to take a -30% defensive hit. Not the case. I attack anyone in the Vendetta he made and the entire Vendetta defends anyone.
So basically someone makes a Vendetta, gets a few large players and they can't be beaten. Yay for balance.
-
I wouldn't have a problem if I say couldn't just beat BadFish, but when the whole group gets all the benefits with no downsides, tell me how thats not broken.

Nick you should really give him feedback instead of just turning it against him. Just sayin. Now go ahead Nick lovers and attack me for calling him out again.Tom Hagen wrote:

vendetta are fun and low-maintenance. don't listen to the haters, nick. there are checks
and balances that keep vendettas from getting out of hand too. like the fact that you can't invite the same person in two consecutive vendettas -
Now who's whining? The 30% defence hit is with people outside the vendetta. Sounds like a significant downside to me. People that have enemies and local competitors don't want to join them, and for good reason. Vendettas change the game a bit and bring BALANCE that keeps us big punks in line.

They have a 30% def hit when other players attack them. That is the balance. Does not apply to the targeted. How bout you just wait a week, then attack them?I wouldn't have a problem if I say couldn't just beat BadFish, but when the whole group gets all the benefits with no downsides, tell me how thats not broken.

If it's for other players and your in SF with 2500 mob hit Eli see if you win. odds are you won't.
Even if that us the case, Nick you can continue to side step the other 4 points I brought up. Because you have nothing there.
The game is truely only set up for levels 1-30.
But what would I know?

I did, I hit a random turf of his on SFO and I won.
Tom, the problem is that you need partners to start a counter-vendetta and rip Oakland and SFO apart. I suggest a new kinder and gentler thread in the Vendettas section.
Big vendettas with big mobs require a new way of thinking that involves more than 6 participants and monitoring your turfs in all areas.
While I agree with your point about the target not being able to attack individuals if you (target) are not in a vendetta. I will say that I like vendettas so far.
-
That's good you won, I have no problem being wrong. I'd still like to see the other points all addressed.
