Has Classical music died?

You know they build Steinways in Long Island, just round the corner from me in Melville!
They have open gallery days, many famous pianists go there to try out from several Pianos to choose from.
I remember seeing some guy "Ling Ling"? in there.. There was quite a big crowd around outside so he must be quite famous..
I like most music but Classical is my one of my fav.
Unfortunately, i can't play.. -
Lang Lang? I would have been there hanging around his arse hoping he'd play something..
He has to be in top 3 best Pianists in the World!
This is him..

I think the fact nobody in this forum named a living composer answers the question; however, I believe classical music has always been for the few.
Steve Reich has been a favorite the last decade. I tend to find him more interesting than Phillip Glass. I also like Arvo Pärt. The most interesting for me has been the career of Alfred Schnittke.
John Zorn is a genius no matter how he is categorized. I would love to discuss others if anyone listens to living people.Hmm. Not sure if Reich is still alive. He may have passed away a few years ago. I hope not. Well, he will always live in my memory until it inevitably fails.
