1) i have no ambitions to start a site, but i'm really curious how code site owners gather codes without having to scour the message board 24 hours a day for new posts?
2) how do bad codes come into being? mistypes, player deactivation, etc?

1. the code sites give users the option to add codes to the site.
2. bad codes = original codes of players who have since changed their code to a custom code, mistypes.
