SOCCER MOM KILLS HER CHILDREN
Forums › General Discussion › SOCCER MOM KILLS HER CHILDREN-
as a mom, and as a former very difficult teen, I actually think parents have more of a right to kill their children than your average run of the mill psychopath.
so the next time moms threatens to wring your neck, you misbehaving kids better think twice.

The problem with a death sentence is it cost more time and money to try, convict and carry out the sentence than it does to give them life without parole. Plus they have the right to appeal. God forbid they find a technicality that sets em free. I say spend the money and expedite executions for the more F'd up cases like this.

1. They can only appeal once and that's only if they have new evidence. (to my knowledge) Also, I would think it would cost more to feed cloathe and bathe someone for 20-30 years then to kill them. The problem with a death sentence is it cost more time and money to try, convict and carry out the sentence than it does to give them life without parole. Was a topic on talk radio once. Some convictions can take several years also if you factor in wages of professional witnesses, judges, court employees, lost time and wages of the jury etc... I'll try to find info to support that, if I'm wrong I'll fess up :)peetie wrote:

There we go... I googled "cost of seeking death penalty Vs life in prison" and the fourth hit down was from "lifeontherow.proboards.com". It had some great info.

😼 I'm too lazy to google it right now 😜 -
way more than only one appeal, lol.
any lawyer with half a brain will find numerous appeals to work for a variety of reasons.
it is far less costly to give a person life no parole than execute due to the process.
the moral and ethical questions regarding capital punishment I see separate from analyzing costs to the system.

Before I joined the military I went to school to be a prison guard (only did first year). That was 10 years ago...back then it cost am average of 146$ a day to lock these guys up. That's a lot of tax payees money. The Brits had it right all those years ago...dump them on an island somewhere and let nature take it's course...probably wouldn't work these days...the moon maybe?

Shoot her in every part of her body where she won't die due to it, then surgically remove the bullets while she can still feel the entire operation, continuous mental violence while her body recovers.
After she recovered, put once again bullets in her and start all over again. -
