Alliances

When ever I see alliances and a new alliance is formed they always say that their alliance will be differnt somehow but it usually isn't or if they try to do it differently it usually doesn't go to well any thoughts on this?

By definition...when a member gets beat on...they have to help. Find an alliance which doesn't help and it's not an alliance.
