jmac made it earlier this week. just reheated some leftovers but I didn't get to try it the first time.
sometimes simple things are the best. and I'm not really a couscous eating type person. I like steak and foie gras and bahn mi and shit. but this is the most perfect thing to find in the fridge when peckish.

Just had a skillet shrimp paella the other night, pretty good for a couscous dish

You said the magic word, garlic. Clearly it must be delicious.

Very small pasta. Staple of the Middle East. You don't really put it in boiling water. You keep it in a bowl and pour the boiling water over it, cover it tight and let it seep like tea. Fluff it with a fork after 5 mins and it's done. Nummy.

I know. I was going to get into the whole semolina thing but as far as regular people that don't know about it the closest thing to compare it to is pasta, rather than a grain like rice.

oh, ok ;-) did you try the same thing with bulghur? It's a little more coarse then couscous and quite easy absorbs flavours 👌Qnio wrote:

I've done a Bulger Wheat filling for a goat cheese portobella cap "burger". Made a sun dried tomato vin and mixed it into the still warm wheat. Grilled corn. Green onion. Grilled balsamic spinich. Good stuff.

Wow. I really fucked up the quote there.

I just finished playing Midnight Club: LA, I wish I was in LA right now. The least they could do is plant 🌴🌴🌴🌴 in NY (they actually can survive). -
Watch season 6 episode 5 when I get all the blue teams steaks out before the red team.
