14,000 mob - what now?? Code Sites

in just less than 6 months.... 14,000 mob.
'My' review on sites I used : (disclaimer - obviously others will have different experiences)
Yes, I do have 21 Henchies given to me by the Don as a Christmas gift :)
When I first started on 1 Aug 2010 it took me about 2 weeks before I realised I could find codes on a website besides the forum - and that was a pain - copy and paste? nah , write them down then punch them in.. waste of time.
I found Thuggie's site www.turfwars.info first It was about the time the Temp codes were introduced.. I kept up with that on a regular basis but one simple thing I found and I did ask Thugs about ti was that every time I opened the site I had to re-log into the site and never quite knew what I had and what I had not punched, how many to go?? a little confusing.. the temp files were good and always up-to-date.

....
I found it was easy enough to work my way through www.turfwarsmob.com/, I mean easy enough because it kept a track fo the ones I had already punched.. a well presented site. (I still check on the updates and punch everyday which takes about 3 or 4 mins) but after completing that site I found that the turfswarsmob site didn't have a very comprehensive list of mobsters . And still used Thuggies site for the Temp codes.

On recommendation by one of the local gamers I started on www.turfwarsdb.com/, I really can highly recommend that site;. Simple straight forward - kept track of what I had marked as punched and what I still had to work through. It is easy on the eyes, simple and not complicate. It gave me an acceptance rate in the last month, actually 27 days, of 2,100 mobsters. But I have completed that site and yeah still doing Temp files.. and punching in the new codes.
Now, I looked at and started on the mobcode.org site but when work my way through old codes and I find a code that is no longer valid it doesn't give you the options of letting the owners of the site know that it is no longer valid??? and 10 codes per page is also a pain of having to stop and click next - (though a quick load) after only punching in ten codes :(
So with my thumb totally numb which site does anyone suggest I try next.
Suggestions please?

since September, i've punched all of mobcode.org and turfwarsdb.com and temps and I'm still shy of 12,000... I don't get how you managed >2000 more acceptances than me
but congrats!

Thanks...
I do think it is worth working a min of two sites at once. I still find codes on either site that are not on the other site. Don't know why and have wondered about that too? I also think that it is a good practice to punch in the Temp codes asap, cause they often accept the first few even if they don't continue with the game. -
I think it depends on ur timing, u may have got adds from people who soon quit so therefor did not accept the next persons add, sorry not really answering the main question but those are all the sites I use :)

I've heard not all sites get the same temps... Not sure if that's true or not - I can't bring myself to punch all the temps from multiple sites to see if there's uniques or not - I use turfwarsdb for temps
-
Doc, I have actually copy and pasted two sites Temp codes and compared them and they were the same, 'cause I heard the same thing... but didn't find any discrepancies. Did that a couple of times.
but what I did find that even after I had punched in all the Temp codes and I then punched in the regular codes there were new codes which actually should have been already included in the Temp codes?
So it is worth doing both all the time.

Thx - good to know I'm not missing scads of temps... I stay current daily on two sites w/ regulars and temps from DB... It probably also depends to some extent when you punch, since lots of people just trying out TW may only open the app a few times before deleting it and movin on. I've heard some players enter temps 3-4 times/day...
-
I also find that most of the acceptances are in the (USA time) evening and Friday night through to Sunday night... I Always try and get as many of the codes in before the weekend. it gives a much bigger acceptance rate...

For a new player such as myself how far back to you punch codes from the website because even though I am new I get a lot of "already in your mob" responses or no response back even after a week. So far I am done with Jan. Dec. Nov. In turf wars.db...thumbs are num.

I would go back at least 6 months... Beyond there most have quit playing & those that are still playing have probably punched your code already...

I would not limit myself to a few months.. there are plenty of players beyond 6 months. If you have time and are already punching code go back as far as you can.

It was my understanding that all players are given a temp code. The code may not be published the same day they start playing so punching regulars is a good idea too but they will get a temp code.
Also it's interesting to note that a nob is not able to post on the forum for an unspecified amount of time when they first start out. So even if they are posting their code, for the first few days no one sees it but them.
