I've always liked book shaped books. ones with some sort of binding and pages you can turn. in middle school, I used to keep a ragged copy of siddhartha I stole from the town library. as if my eight months of reading it was what caused it's weathered state.
my son is now reading A Series of Unfortunate Events, which I read in it's entirety maybe three years ago and loved. i go through book phases. I'll consume entire series in a week (like Harry potter) and will cover a variety of topics simultaneously: beach trash, lesbian lit, the history of salt, teach yourself Irish.
this kindle thing is awesome. I thought the whole phone screen deal was going to make for an uncomfortable book medium. I don't have an iPad or something more organically sized. the speed by which it syncs. the seemlessness of the amazon store, the simple basic settings. I'm in love.

📚 I like this one😼

I have a book to read on my iPad. Only problem is everytime I pick it upto read it I get sidetracked by turf wars. I probably should go back to regular books that don't have fight notifications on them....

Batel got one for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. It looks pretty cool

I have several readers on my devices. Best format is stanza or ibooks IMO. Kindle is. CHEAPEST for paid books.

its nice to not have to carry around actual books. it also makes me feel smart like. when i see the lists of titles of the free books vie actually read.

Kindle is great. It's almost always 50% off and it's great for reading, nowhere near as bulky as a regular book.

It's a damn good thing I didn't have an iPad and iTextbooks in college. I'd be screwed!! Did they release iTextbooks yet? Or are they saving that one for iPad 3?

I've yet to get the kindle app because
a. i use my battery here
b. i value my 20/20 vision and i imagine reading full length novels on a 2"x3" back-lit screen is horribly straining.does sound cool though. of course...i've bought probably 6 (real, tangible with turnable pagey things) books since i started playing tw and have finished maybe 2, if that.

I have all my textbooks on my iPad for college. You are right though. The iPad does have the most options for procrastinating built right in. Horrible for studying. LolMr Baron wrote:

I have 600+ books on my iPad right now. It is so hard to pick one to read. But I love the selection.

I also think it's leaa straining if you read in sepia. all I can say is I can comfortably read in the dark while my boyf sleeps. that I can't do with the lamp on bright enough for my poor vision to see.BellaItaliana wrote:
