capturing turf

I am trying to capture a turf, I attacked and won the first 4 attacks, then lost the next three. Is this because we are evenly matched, or because i need more health or what? I want that darn turf haha.

Also, how many attacks does it normally take? Ive beaten the turf like 10-15 times now but haven't captured it.

The turf I'm trying to capture has 23 influence.

Instead of attack turf, it says "capture turf" happy holidays

what exactly do you need to do for that to happen? I just attacked two bases until they had no health and it's only saying I can't attack them and that's it

you have to be within like .3 miles of them or something. If they are out of that range you cannot capture the turf, only attack it.

I did it because it was at the complete bottom of the forums. It was lonely lol
