UC, the last thing this idea is is frightening. You are coming up with an idea that suits you alone and isn't thinking out of the box at all. Let's say you get your group to do something like this, tomorrow I'm still punching codes again like normal and you are coming up with a new excuse and scheme so you can sit on the couch watching Tv and eating ding dongs instead of putting a little work into the game to compete with those that do. Besides, code punching brings down the power of the mobs with henchies. Let's see everyone go back to 1k mobs and Belial and V and a few other of us that invested in henchies will have a considerable permanent advantage. I say go for it, remember the old saying "be careful what you wish for"Interesting.... Looks like a few of you actually get your kicks from code punching.... Either that or feeling threatened this concept?.... Conspicuous absence of comment from Belial? :-p

You see, I am not on the leaderborads, but I still get capped by some larger players.
They obviously have mob members I di not. And while we we would both be losing mob, theoretically they should lose just a bit more than me, closing the gap between myself and them.

I am in full support of this idea.
Even if you manage to get 5000 players on board.
I will be closest to top mobstters, but still be well over 10k. Enough padding to keep me protected from the crazy demobbers.
-
But what happens if ypu get 7-8k players to goalong with this idea?
Suppose you succed in bringing the leader boards down to 7-8?
dontcha think everybody might just keep on mobbing up then?
And even then y'all won't get anywhere as y'all are only around 2-4 k yourselves.

There once was a game widecampaign to demobilize a player.
Maybe you should look through some old timers old comments for it. And search the forums for those old posts.
Some believe it was actually a successful campaign.
The player they all demobbed was thuglife.
Check it out. See if you can find him on the leaderboards to see the damage it did.

Good and realistic plan. However it's a bit complicated to know if everyone will do as told. And for those saying " "STFU", what part of freedom of speech do you not understand ?
Are you telling them that they can not excersize free speech?

Hmmmmmm, veeeery clever.

I'd do it

Sure it does. thare are limitations, but there is nothing saying all speech has to be respectable.

But free speech doesn't apply to a message board anyway, so you're point is moot.
-
Not the worst idea I've ever heard. There are some hurdles however. Try to organize a group larger than one and there are bound to be difficulties. A real strong leader would be needed to gain the trust needed for an idea such as this to even be considered. 🔫🔫©

Pretty sure I can get more top mobsters to remove the creator of this ridiculous thread than he can get noobs to give up top mobsters

Just remember this thread if you ever want to ask for help from a mobster over 10k (and hope they don't remember it).

Hate to break it to you but this is actually a very old idea. It was tried before and failed.
LOL, this only worked once. Back in the day when 3,500 mob was huge.
Thuglife was the target and he lost about 200 mob and didn't gain another couple hundred. Total net loss was maybe 350.
If people later added him back into their mob, then that was only a temporary loss.Jim was likely referring to many other folks who thought this was a great idea.
Coconuts Charlie is right - the mob sizes are too large now for this to ever work. -

Don't wanna punch codes.... No fun in it...What is so hard about punching? I've been punching since November and I'm past the halfway point of 10k mob. Stop whining in the forums and punch some damn codes everyday! It will not take that much time to catch up to them! You could punch 500 codes in the time it takes to remove 125 "10k mobsters". See how counter productive that is? Case closed, you lose, delete this thread.

Sorry???... I thought this was a war game? I guess this is more like gurrilla tactics, this gives the little guys if they work together.. Not much fun in rolling over and surrendering... Also, it takes a lot of time and effort to get 'powerful' in this game NOT 'good'! There's very little skill involved in punching thousands of codes. Not only will this never actually go past being an idea, but I honestly respect people who punch up to 10k+. Look at it this way, if you plan worked with say 5k mob loss, and you were at say 12k. You lose 5k and now your at 7k mob. How pissed off would you be? You spend your time punching and punching codes just to have some lazy a** n00bs kick half your mob. It actually takes alot of time and effort to get good at this game.

Yeah, but the new guys will just keep on entering new codes working through the websites, you guys won't know which codes you've lost - so will have no realistic way of recovering them (assuming they would be accepted again anyway)But what happens if ypu get 7-8k players to goalong with this idea?

I won't need to recover them. I'll just stay current...keeping my 400/week growth. A rate the demobbers will never see for being too lazy to punch and too busy demobbing.
Meanwhile, I'll STILL be 3-5k ahead of all the demobbers and increasing the cgap daily.

@ undercover: you've had your 15 minutes of fame. Now just quietly "ssshhh". The time you've spent on this thread you could have punched 500 codes. I wonder what your stance on this will be if/when you ever reach 10k?

May I add my 4 pennarth? As a person who sort of doesn't quite count himself as a noob anymore, (playing since aug 2010) without resorting to epic code punching sessions, I have caught up with and in some cases suppased people playing for longer than I. It can be done. And without buying henchies or giving up your life...
I'm sorry, it's just not necessary to change anything, the 10k plus players can't Really touch noobs due to the upkeep/turf requirements, you just play at the various levels and when you get big enough and hard enough, you try to go up and see if you can hold your own against the bigger guys. Just as nick envisioned I'm sure.
I'm not slating those people who find getting started or ahead in turf wars difficult, it's just not a game that gives instant gratification and shouldn't be treated as such, or attempted to be changed into thus.
