Multitasking on iPhone 3Gs

Yea, my Parents got iPhones and think not closing apps on the multitask bar will run down battery faster, but my 2 of my friends have iTouch 4's and dont do that. Help?

iPhone 4 has a better battery than the 3GS. My 3GS does the same thing, don't worry

No. Multitasking isn't true multitasking. Apps moved to the background are paused.

IMO iTouch sounds better. And it's shorter
