Portrait lock

I'm not sure if I'm just slow but with multitasking I realised you can swipe right to multitasking on ALL your apps.but if you swipe left then you get the music controls.but interestingly next to that is portrait lock which stops your screen flipping to portrait.just thought yall would find it useful.

Yep, that's where they move the lock button after the last OS upgrade. A shame in my opinion, I heard rumor Apple was moving it back to the side button next release.

I didn't even know you COULD lock it in portrait

me either. Is that iOS 4 only or is it present in earlier OSs? (I'm still on 3.1 with my aging 3G)

In iOS 4.3 beta you can change the side switch to either mute or lock the screen.
