Healthcare reform gotta go!

BTW - to the original poster - if youre about to embark in a carreer in health care you should learn more about it before making assumptions like blaming poor people or others recieving medical benefits for your perceived lack of jobs.

Agreed, just because the south is full of anti health propaganda, doesn't mean it holds true. Check out all the other successful first world countries in the world. Punchy is much better at discussing this stuff if you want full disclosure. Anyways, the ten days or so that that part of the bill has been in process hasn't caused job loss. The system will eventually increase jobs. It's our economy that has produced the unemployment rates. Nothing, at this point, is fail proof. Not even the medical field. Every business out there is pretty much on lock down.

@Bee Ryan Thank you for letting me know that she is well. Thank goodness.
As for the issue, I saw my grandfather pay medical insurance for decades. When he needed them the bastards would not cover. I watched him die because of this. My grandparents sold their home and everything they could to try to pay the medical bills the insurance refused to cover.
Also, my mother had a hip replacement put in last year. They had a freaking recall on the replacement hip! Now, my mother lost her job and her current company insurance won't cover the 'pre-existing' issue. The previous companies insurance won't cover. She has to go to court somehow and she does not make much.
She is in unbearable pain. It hurts me to see my mother cry. -
The pre-existing clause has hone into place. They no longer can refuse as far as I know.
