I have a golden retriever. I love her so much, she sat on a candle today and didn't notice until she smelt burning hair very funny. I would hate to lose her

aw, it's okay it's okay to cry it's hard to think of losing your best friend and it's hard when that time comes...Thank you all! It's been rough and I'm feeling better but it's still okay to cry every now and then. :)

Sorry for the loss man.. I love my dog like a real family member(sometimes more, shh!) I'd bug if I lost him.

Like others said he lived a long life. Someone poured antifreeze on my last dog
he end up passing at 5yr old. Still miss him

Wow. This thread is so sad, but so encouraging bc we all are reaching out during a tragic time. I'm so sorry for your loss, I have 4 dogs and love them all dearly. I hope they make it to 18!!
