WTF this kid must be a genius. I was happy with with Mario bros.1 on the nes at that age not punching codes. Is this what kids are into these day?

I think so, when I was 9 I was into the same thing but now I'm addicted to this, so maybe he is addicted to it.

Don't see how punching codes at 9 makes someone a genius. Perhaps the product of poor parenting, 1. It's a 12+ app and with some of the content in the forums and pm's maybe not high enough. 2. At least Mario bros n other games help develop hand-eye coordination, what does punching codes do? Early carpotunnel?

Haha carpotunnel?! I guess you can say punching codes teaches you determination. I'm not entirely sure that turf wars actually has a real life use besides just having fun with the app. It's pretty social too.

You guys making me feel bad. When I go round my sisters I get my nephew to punch codes for me, his 11. I pay him 5 pence for every 50 codes he punched. I just found out his begging my sister for a iPad for his birthday next month! Watch for this little dude, his gonna be a big TW player! What have I done!! 😖

meh. my son's almost nine. he would totally understand the mechanics of the game if he had an iPod and probably not be very interested in the forums. putting an age guideline but I remember being little and fighting for my maturity. that's like saying eight year olds don't watch some PG-13 movies.
