How about the divide in Christological tradition concerning the three natures of the Christian diety and how the inevitable divide in theological beliefs have impacted the ruling governments of late antiquity, the middle ages, and the early modern era before the scientific revolution.

Ok well I'm not an expert in astrophysics and associated theories, but I'll give it a shot. Time and space are both physical phenomena, like matter and light, and exist in our universe. There is a theory that subatomic particles do not depend on time and space, they just exist (quantum theory). The root of what makes the particles that make the atoms that make us, can be both everywhere and nowhere at any one time. When perceived at one point they 'exist' at that point, but they still exist at other points where they are not perceived.
-
The theory goes that 'outside' our universe is a plain of existence that again doesn't depend on time and space. So you have all this infinite energy in one form or another existing in a plain that is separate to our universe. Within that plain, universes form when huge amounts of energy suddenly occupy the same place and boom, a huge release of energy enough to create matter, light, time, and space. Because this higher plain doesn't depend on space time, you could refer to it as infinite. Meaning there could potentially be infinite universes.
-
Before dismissing this remember that our brains understand what we can see and touch, they aren't set up to deal with things that are outside our mode of existence. I try to think of infinite Swiss cheese with infinite holes in it that represent the universes (that's not the right way if imagining it but it stops my brain hurting).
The beauty is that this is one of many theories of what started the universe expanding (I'm not going to pretend to understand the superstring theory. The big bang theory could be completely wrong, but you can always change an idea to fit the evidence that is presented.

However, if you are trying to prove the existence of a god, the same dilemma confronts us. Where did a god come from?

God vs. Evolution:
Both have their followers and extremists. I'm not here to knock either. Just give some input. God and his word are based on what was said thousands of years ago. If u want to see how good the power of word is. Stand 100 ppl next to each other in a line. Start person 1 with a 3 word sentance. By person 100. See what that sentance is. Stuff has been added and taken away. Evolution. Has solid facts following it. Need proof. Take a glass of water and let it sit. Check it in 6 months. U will find some life form in it. Take that life form and expand it over millions of years.

What if some higher being made the big bang?

hey curiosity. how many of you have ever had an intruder in your house? I hear this scenario, but I have never, nor have I known anyone who has ever actually had a malicious intruder while they were home? I know some people who have been burglarized but never while they're there.

Obesity is defined by bmi as it is currently. This is a very flawed statistic. I am biased because I am 5'10 and 225 pounds. I am pretty cut up but have a bmi that says I'm obese. I have a 6pack and I'm obese?
Americans are pretty fat, no joke, but I have a problem with statistics that say 30% are obese if I am being counted in that. -
I just went to a bmi calculator and entered in Ray lewis' stats. He is way over the obese bmi of 30. Plug in your favorite athlete and see if they are "obese"

No lol they really aren't necessary. You can have a baseball bat or something and it'll work just fine. You think we canadiens can't do anything to defend ourselves without guns? LOLGolddigga wrote:
Good one, it's in the constition, let's say you ban guns okay? If you are a law abiding citizen what do you do? Bring in the gun, so what if someone breaks into your house? Will he have turned In his gun? No, guns are nescessary for self defenseThe right to bare arms let's have a nice debate on this topic.

Just get house insurance. If someone comes into your house with a gun just do what they say. Then after they leave put a claim in for twice what you lost!

Home invasion is a purposeful act. Most likely if they burglarize you while you are home, they are after more than your stuff. That's where need for protection comes in. And yes I know people that this has happened to. For instance my grandparents next door neighbors. There back door was unlocked. One came through that way with a sawed off shot gun. Another one rang the bell and asked to use there phone and he came in that way.hey curiosity. how many of you have ever had an intruder in your house? They were tied up with Christmas lights and the old lady was forced to give one of the dudes a blow job. She saved the semen in her mouth. They took their stuff and said they'd be back to kill them on the second trip of taking there stuff. The husband got out of the lights, went and called the police from the garage phone line that they didn't cut. The crap thing about this story is that they had a gun case full of about 20 guns locked up. They don't do you any good on display
