If I was to go on holiday this year how can I guarantee tw will work there so I can plant turf there a friend of mine just come back from America he could not get 3G so could get tw on his phone how can I stop this happening Your help would be much appreciated!

What so the US has no 3G network at all?? Surely not??

You can try data roaming and actually enable 3G. Go to settings app>general>network and enable 3G and data roaming from network. Beware it's pricey! I found the hard way. Depending on your network you may have to tell them your going abroad.
Your hotel may have free wifi but you have a max time limit usually that you have to use in one hit (or you can pay 😝). If all else fails pop into a maccy dees and use their wifi.

its very expensive! most hotels have wifi but if ur in a good spot, might be worth the few quid enabling data roaming then paying for local 3G /data carrier..
once turf is dropped, disable data roaming as it stays on..
My niece thought it was free and came back to a £138 bill for the week

Airports give off wifi as well
