This is essentiallu a repost of Nixon's great idea. Turf United is essentially an allience with no leader or alliegence. This allience is founded on only two principals. anyone can be a member provided they follow these
1) don't capture any turf that hasn't been captured from someone else. Unless you are at war.
2) always help those who follow the first principal when they ask.

Well that's it and once again thanks president Nixon for this great idea that I'm sure will help many when Vendetta arrives

i sorta had unwritten rules of etiquette but this post by nix-belial is well-put and effectively brief and it also takes my personal rule of "dont attack turf unless u are trying to cap it" to another level of diplomacy (with the whole "dont attack turf unless its already been captured" stipulation)

count me in this 'alliance' although i am giving myself the leeway to forsake it in the interest of fucking shit up in times of retaliation/helping others/when im extremely bored :-)

What's the point of this if you don't mind me asking. The unique selling point of this game over others is turfs and being able to capture them. Why ruin that?

if you have to ask then for you there would quite possibly be no point in joining. hpwever for me i just feel that i no longer at this time feel a need to expand my empire. i mean i have a large fully armed mob and enough turfs to support upkeep. so what real need do i have to cap? there are lower level players who dont cap for various reasons and this group is set up to protect those of us who are currently playing or want to play by the same standards

i feel to see how a player who has taken no turfs from you pulling in an allience you were unaware of to take back turf u captured from him is unfair
