New Vendettas help screen

We just posted the new vendettas help screen in the main in-game help section.
For those of you who aren't in the vendettas beta this will give you an intro to the biggest new Turf Wars feature since our launch!
If anything is unclear, post your questions in this thread and they'll be answered.

I know the instructions are in the help screen. It says there's a vendetta button on your personal profile. Don't see it there

2 questions Nick. First, 3: max # of targets in a vendetta (so this means we can start a vendetta against multiple people in that one vendetta??) Secondly, after 7 days a vendetta is permanently deactivated (can we start another vendetta against that same person or we can't be involved in a vendetta against that person again???)

The vendetta update hasn't launched yet. I'm guessing that's why we don't have the vendetta buttons yett.
Big props to Nick for updating the help before the launch so everyone not in the beta can get up to speed.

Each vendetta can target up to 3 people, so yes you can target multiple people, and even add (but not remove) them to the vendetta as needed. You can also cancel a vendetta before its time is up.
There's no limit on who you can target - you can target a player all you want.
The limit applies only to members - you can't keep starting vendettas with the same group of members. We do this to reduce the advantage of real-life friends/family members, and of second accounts.
Second accounts may NOT be used in vendettas - this is extremely unfair to other players and if caught you WILL be banned.

Nick, in response to what you just said: my vendetta w/ hum & Nixon expires in 45 mins. I planned to begin a new one with belial & Tom Hagen. The 2 of them are currently in a vendetta together that expires around midnight - since they've just been in one together, does this mean that they can't be in a new one together with me?
& 2: if 3 members have a vendetta, it runs out, they each form a 2nd vendetta w/ other players, it runs out- can the original 3 come back together again for another vendetta as long as they aren't together in consecutive vendettas?

Does the vendetta start time begin upon activation or when the 24-hour waiting period is over?
When vendetta members, does that affect the start time for the team, that vendetta member or not at all?

From what I've seen in the beta it works as thus:
player A, B and C and Enemy. A starts a vendetta agianst Enemy and invites B and C. Vendetta runs for 7 days. At that point A can't start a new vendetta with either B or C but B can start a vendetta agianst Enemy and invite A and C. 7 days later B can't start a vendetta with A or C but C can declare the vendetta and invite A and B.
So you can keep a vendetta going for 3 weeks maximum with the same players this way.

It begins when the vendetta is created. There's no 24 hour waiting period for attacking players, so if someone's harassing you you'll get improved protection as soon as someone joins your vendetta.

After giving this more thought, we are going to simplify this scenario before launch. More details coming soon.

I'm going to rephrase my question:
Nixon created/declared a Stress_myass vendetta v StressCali Wednesday at 8pm. He invited Bella and Hum to his vendetta.
Bella joined the Stress_myass team at 11 pm. Hum joined the Stress_myass team Thursday at 8 am.When does the full effect for the attacker start?
A. Wednesday at 8pm
B. Variable depending upon Bella and Hums join times
C. Other -

C. OtherHum, also note that when I joined last night (whatever time it was that I talked to you) Nixon hadn't yet targeted StressCali. When I joined there was no target yet. So that changes things too, right? The vendetta was created at 8, then stresscali was targeted some hours later, so the full effect won't go into play at least till 24 hrs after the target was made, right?

C. OtherFull effectiveness is based on the time the targets are added, not members. So if you create the vendetta at Wednesday 8pm and immediately target nixon, you can't attack his turf until Thursday 8pm.
Say you also decide to target Eli at 12pm Thursday - your vendetta can't be used against his turf until 12pm Friday.
We base it on targets so players can't get around the 24 hour rule by targeting some random player, then targeting the real person they want to take over.
