G'day mayte. I'm cooking a barbie for Xmas eve dinner for some family, and as I'm lucky enough to have a BBQ heated by wood, I'm going to cook lamb shanks and hot potatoe. Number of coals, the coals seem to last about n hour. Well I have 8 lamb shanks and same number of potatoes so this means I'll need to cook shanks for about two hours and potatoes for half-hour

Just finely cook it, give the inside a nice meaty flavour and the outside just a little bit of a crisp, then throw 1000 more logs onto the BBQ, go inside to 👊 some codes and come out a hour later to your lamb shanks and potatoes burned to a crisp. A mans BBQ!
