Migraine :(

If your stuck with over-the-counter meds, you can alternate b/t ibuprofen and acetaminophen every 4-6 hrs for a limited time and a really good source of caffeine and caffeine derivatives is a strongly brewed caffeinated tea. If the tea has peppermint, that will help if you're nauseous. I go with the prescription auto-injector sumatriptan myself, but on occasion have luck with a US product called Percogesic which is acetaminophen and phenylamine citrate. Its over-the-counter as well. I just read that eating green apples has been proven to help w/migraines--in a controlled double-blind study no less--so there's an off the wall thing to try. Who knew...

They should go away with sleep. If not and the pain is severe it might be a cluster headache
